The Donorlytics Difference

The combination of our vision and execution sets us apart

Founded in 2021, we help donors discover insights hidden in plain sight.

Mission

  • Amplify the impact of charitable giving through data analytics

Goals

  • Research and evaluate the quality of non-profit

  • Educate the public about wise giving

  • Inform the public of malpractices of non-profits

What Makes Us Stand Out?

  • Proudly Independent

As the first Independent HK-focused Non-Profit Assessment Organization, we do not charge nonprofits we review to be listed in our database, nor do we accept any advertising on our website or in our publication.

  • Balanced Focus

We value both qualitative and quantitative data. We do not simplistically generate our evaluation purely based on quantitative data. Our evaluations are the result of thoughtful analysis.

  • All-inclusive

We review HK-focused nonprofits of all types and sizes. We cover both charities and non-governmental organizations.

Our Belief

We are passionate about driving social change. We recognize private capital plays an essential role in supporting charity programs, which many in dire needs rely and depend on. Yet, we must also acknowledge that some non-profit organizations and initiatives are more effective and trust-worthy than others.

We believe that providing honest evaluation metrics and ratings is a small but crucial step to establishing a culture of transparency and accountability in the non-profit ecosystem. This is the fundamental reason for why we do this.

By creating a platform that not just aggregate data on non-profits, but provide metrics to evaluate its performance, we are encouraging non-profits to improve their effectiveness as an organization. We do not wish to penalize small-scale organizations, but simply aim to reflect the truth to donors, and support better decision making.

As data becomes an inevitable part of lives, from finance to healthcare, why are we not doing anything about data availability in the non-profit sector? We acknowledge the challenges ahead, but at least, we’d like to try.
